Out of Area/EPO/PPO

If you live outside of Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn or Queens, your health plan will provide you with access to participating external providers, in addition to the our Health Centers. The Health Centers provide a complete range of in-house medical, diagnostic and screening services, which may be convenient to you during your work week.

With the Out-of-Area plan (also known as EPO or PPO) you can seek care from outside providers, when you present your health coverage card for covered benefits.

NOTE: This plan is only available to those providing proof of address (utility bills) for their full-time residence. Even with the Out-Of-Area plan, some services are only covered at our Health Centers.
